The acronym is a unique alphanumerical code that you can attribute to your events. They are unique across all events on Fourwaves and determine your event's url.
For example:
The event website: event.fourwaves.com/acronym
The registration form: event.fourwaves.com/acronym/registration
The submission form: event.fourwaves.com/acronym/submission
The event's virtual platform: live.fourwaves.com/acronym
On the French version of the event website, the forms are at event.fourwaves.com/fr/acronym/inscription and event.fourwaves.com/fr/acronym/soumission.
Choose your event acronym
In the event dashboard, go to Settings > General.
Locate the Acronym field and enter the desired acronym.
Accepted characters
Only letters, numbers and hyphens are accepted for the acronym, up to 100 characters.
Some words are reserved by the event website and can't be used as an acronym: abstracts, api, en, fr, horaire, inscription, pages, participants, redirection, registration, resumes, schedule, soumission and submission.
