It can be useful to share reviewer feedback to authors. Fortunately, you can do this automatically with Fourwaves.
How to activate the sharing option
In the organizer panel, head over to your reviewing form.
Click on Settings.
Toggle on Sharing results.
Select which fields are visible to submitters
From the dropdown menu Fields, select which fields of the reviewing form are visible to submitters.
For example, you can only share a text box where reviewers provided comments to the submitter, but not all scoring fields.
Who can see review results
Only submitters can see the review results from their user dashboard.
Hide reviewer names
Toggle this option if you want to hide reviewer names to authors when the review results are shared.
Viewing Review Results by Authors
Submitters will be able to see the comments and scores on their submission as soon as they are entered by the reviewer, as long as the option to share results with authors is toggled on and the field is visible to authors. This visibility occurs regardless of whether the review period is open or not.
