Introduction
A Fourwaves account allows you to register for events, submit abstracts, and access your registrations, submissions, and other event information.
Before you can register for an event or submit an abstract, you must create a Fourwaves account or log in to an existing account.
If an event organizer adds you as a committee member or reviewer, an account is created for you using the email address they provided. You must then activate your account before you can access Fourwaves.
Create your account
If you're not logged in when you click Register or Submit on an event website, a Login required window will appear.
You can choose:
Log in if you already have a Fourwaves account;
Create an account if you don't have one yet;
Cancel to return to the event website.
To create an account, click Create an account and enter your email address.
You'll receive an email from Fourwaves with instructions to continue creating your account. You'll be asked to enter your:
first name;
last name;
affiliation;
password.
Once your account is created, you'll be able to continue to the registration or submission form.
Activate your account
If you've been added as a committee member or reviewer, a Fourwaves account is created for you using the email address provided by the event organizer.
You'll receive an email from Fourwaves asking you to activate your account. Click Activate my account in the email. The activation link is valid for 30 days.
During activation, you'll be asked to enter your:
first name;
last name;
affiliation;
password.
Once your account is activated, you can log in to Fourwaves and access the event and the features available to you based on your role.
Already have an account?
If you already have an active Fourwaves account, select Log in when prompted and enter your email address and password.
Make sure you use the same email address associated with your Fourwaves account. If you've been added as a committee member or reviewer, you must also use the email address the organizer used when adding you.
If you've forgotten your password, click Forgot password? on the login page.
After you log in, you'll be able to continue to the registration or submission form. Your name and email address will be pre-filled from your Fourwaves account.
Not receiving the email?
If you're not receiving the account creation or activation email:
Check your spam or junk folder.
Make sure you entered or were added with the correct email address.
Use the Contact support link on the page if you still haven't received the email.
For security reasons, Fourwaves displays the same confirmation message after you enter your email regardless of whether an account already exists with that email address.
