Creating an Organization

The goal of this article is to show you how to create your Organization.

From your user dropdown menu, click on Organizations.

If you’re not already the Administrator of an Organization, you’ll see a screen inviting you to create one:

Otherwise, you’ll be redirected to your Organization Dashboard. From there, click on Switch Organizations and then on New Organisation.

Filling up the Organization information.

There are 3 steps when you create a new organization.

The first step asks the name and billing address. The billing address will be used to simplify the checkout process if you purchase a plan later on and also determines if taxes are charged on the Fourwaves transaction fees.

In step 2, you will have the opportunity to invite other colleagues to join your Organization as an admin. Admins will have the right to view and edit your events as well as create new ones.

Finally, in step 3 you will be invited to import existing events to your Organization. To import an event, it must not be linked to another Organization (unless you’re also an Admin of this Organization) and you must be an Organizer of this event.
