Follow these steps if you can't sign in to Fourwaves, didn't receive an activation or password reset email, or think you may have more than one account.
Make sure you have a Fourwaves account
You may already have a Fourwaves account if you:
previously created an account to register for an event or submit an abstract;
registered for an event;
submitted an abstract;
were added as an author to a submission;
were added as a reviewer, organizer or admin.
If you're trying to register or submit and don't have an account yet, click Register or Submit on the event website, then select Create an account.
Enter your email address and check your inbox. Fourwaves will automatically send you the appropriate email depending on whether your account is new, needs to be activated or is already active.
Activate your account
If your account hasn't been activated yet, select Create an account when prompted and enter your email address.
You'll receive an email with an Activate my account button. Click the button and follow the instructions to activate your account.
Activation links are valid for 30 days.
Reset your password
If your account is already activated but you've forgotten your password:
Enter the email address associated with your Fourwaves account.
Open the email you receive and follow the link to set a new password.
You can also click Forgot password? from the Fourwaves login page.
Not receiving the email?
If you don't receive an activation or password reset email:
Check your spam or junk folder.
Make sure you entered the correct email address.
Consider whether you may have used a different email address when creating your account, registering or submitting.
If you're unsure which email address is associated with your registration or submission, contact the event organizers. You'll usually find their contact information in the footer of the event website.
I have two accounts
If you submitted your abstract using one email address and registered using another, your information may be split between two Fourwaves accounts.
Fourwaves doesn't currently offer a self-serve way to merge accounts. Contact us at support@fourwaves.com with:
both email addresses;
the name of the event.
We'll help you consolidate the accounts.
Still stuck?
If none of the steps above work, contact us at support@fourwaves.com and include your name, email address and the event you're trying to access.
