Can't Sign In? Troubleshoot Your Fourwaves Account Access

Fix sign-in issues: activation email, expired token, duplicate accounts, and missing reset emails.

Updated today

Follow these steps if you can't sign in to Fourwaves, didn't receive your activation or reset email, or think you have more than one account.

Make sure your account exists

A Fourwaves account is only created when you:

  • register for an event;

  • submit an abstract;

  • are added as an author to a submission;

  • are added as a reviewer, organizer or admin.

Reset your password or activate your account

  1. Enter the email address linked to your account.

  2. Click the link in the email you receive to set a new password or activate your account.

The same page works for both resetting a password and getting a fresh activation link if yours expired.

Not receiving the email?

If the reset or activation email isn't arriving, there are usually two reasons:

  1. No Fourwaves account is associated with the email you entered.

  2. The email is in your spam or junk folder.

  3. You used a different email to submit or register

Check with the event organizers to confirm which email address is on file for you. You'll find their contact in the footer of the event website.

I have two accounts

If you submitted your abstract under one email and registered under another, your data is split between two accounts. Fourwaves doesn't offer a self-serve merge, so contact us at support@fourwaves.com with both email addresses and the event name, and we'll help consolidate them.

Still stuck?

If none of the above works, email support@fourwaves.com with your name and the event you're attending.
