You can easily showcase a video on your event website using the Video content block. This is a great way to highlight a welcome message, teaser, or recap video.
Uploading Your Video
Go to the Website section in your event dashboard.
In the Website section, select the Home or custom page where you want to add the video.
Click Add Block on the Home or custom page where you'd like to add the video.
Choose the Video content block.
Upload your video (mp4) file directly from your computer (maximum file size: 1 GB).
Once uploaded, the video will appear in the block preview.
Note: Only one video can be uploaded per block.
Adjusting Video Layout
You can customize the layout to control how the video is displayed alongside text:
Hover over the Video block and click the pencil icon to open settings.
Under Block settings, choose the layout:
Video on the left, text on the right
Video on the right, text on the left
Video above text
Text above video
You can also customize the text field with a title or short description to accompany your video.
Tips
Keep your video under 1 GB.
Use the Move Up and Move Down arrows to reorder the content block on your page if needed.
If you'd like your video to take up the full width of the content block, simply disable the “Show intro text” toggle in the block settings. This removes the accompanying text and allows the video to span the entire block area.
