Link your event to a payment gateway connected to your organization
To link your event to a payment gateway connected to your organization, follow the instructions below.
From the event dashboard, go to Configuration > Payments.
Select the payment gateway from the dropdown menu.
Select the correct currency.
If you are an Organization Admin, click Link payment gateway. Otherwise, click Send Request and an admin will get a notification email to review and approve the request to link the payment gateway.
In the final step, you may be required to fill out a form with specific information.
Link your event to an external payment gateway
You can link your event to a payment gateway owned by an external organization, that is, an organization different from the one of your event.
For example, the finance department of some universities have their own organizations with their payment gateways and allow external events to link to them.
To link your event to an external payment gateway, you need to use a sharing code to submit a request. Here is how it works.
Under Configuration > Payments, click enter a sharing code.
Enter the sharing code of the payment gateway. This code is shared to you by the admins of the payment gateway.
You may be asked to fill out a form. You will receive an email notification once the request has been accepted by the admins of the payment gateway.
